We had this yummy salad with grilled chicken and cook squash this weekend here at the hut.

This recipe is EASY…Just make as much as you need for one serving or more!!!

Ice Berg lettuce chopped up as desired

1 can pears in heavy Syrup- cut up 2 pear halves per individual salad.

Pecans- (Can make in advance- Caramelize pecans by mixing together 2tblsp melted butter, 2 tblsp brown sugar, 2 tblsp maple syrup -mix in with pecans and lay out on a cookie sheet -bake at 350 degrees til crispy)

Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese – grated

Dressing:  2 tblsp mayo, Add the pear juice from the can and mix until you get your desired consistancy. We thinned ours out to make it more like a 55 type dressing!

Toss the dressing in with the salad and serve!

THIS SALAD IS VERY VERY GOOD, QUICK AND EASY!! THE EXTRA SHARP CHEDDAR MIXED WITH THE DRESSING AND CARAMELIZED PECANS GIVE IT SUCH A GREAT TASTE! TRY IT!!!
