TIME OF YEAR TO START THINKING APPETIZERS!!!!

This can be served as an appetizer or even a regular dish!
Meranda is trying out easy breezy appetizers for our upcoming Halloween Open House! We sampled it this weekend as a regular dish but it will be great to serve with toothpicks after you take it out of the oven. A tray of these and cheese cubes using toothpicks would look great on a holiday plate!
2 pounds polish sausage( We used Turkey Kielbassa)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup chunky applesauce
1 onion, chopped

Preheat oven to 325 degrees | |
In a large skillet, fry sausage until it is browned. Drain well. Cut the sausage into bite-size pieces. | |
In a small casserole dish, combine sausage, brown sugar, applesauce, and onion. | |
Bake at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes. Serve with toothpicks! |
